I thought I’d take a break from politics –remember? Well, my break includes working on the “Liberty” Documentary and co-organizing Libertyfest NYC 6. I have been staying away from trying to save my community or the “state” of legislature anywhere in this country (I’m not sure I care anymore John Bush 🙂 –I have instead been painting furniture and cooking organic and setting people up to purchase gold.
I have my heirloom seeds budding in the window sill and I’ve stenciled some flower pots while awaiting my full grown organic/non-gmo herbs to arrive so I can keep my grass-fed beef stews in good flavor. Going through my old furniture and freshening it up –lo and behold my inner Martha Stewart has arrived!
People keep emailing me and telling me all the things I should be doing and should be involved in but I sort of wish that people would just take the initiative themselves sometimes and realize that I’m kind of tired. It’s time for other things right now. Time to slow down and let someone else take the liberty reigns. Obviously I haven’t stopped caring about liberty and freedom and trying to spread the message or I wouldn’t be involved in liberty events and I still am….I just can’t deal anymore with party politics and people saying “it’s time for us to run candidates for local office…” because I tried that and mostly people are just full of shit. What’s the point in running candidates when no one at these coffee klatch meetings actually really does anything when someone finally does step up to run –then they actually have to stop master-debating and lifting their arm to fill their pie-hole with beer. I know I sound cynical and It’s because I am! After you’ve gone about as far as you can go and realize that people rather sit in a room on a sunny day and fight about by-laws then actually go outside to get the job done…… I mean, how many times do you have to be hit in the head with the same brick before you come to the final conclusion that you have wasted enough time doing the same thing over and over again….knowing the results will be the same few people doing all the work.
So we’re getting ready for spring at our house and skipping a lot of meetings we previously attended because I believed that rallying up the troops was going to bring us more liberty. Honestly, I don’t have anymore answers to anything. Just LIVE free as much as you can. Live each day to it’s fullest. Get your seeds in order. Get some sunshine….. and play some poker with your old friends and revisit your Inner Martha Stewart 🙂
As you all must know by now since I am the Queen of Spam, I’m in the middle of throwing the most amazing event to ever happen in the land of liberty (save long island forum –and if you don’t buy a ticket and come and perhaps get Snowden with us lol (Snowed in Package –we promise not to spy on you!) you are doing yourself a huge disservice –who wants to miss Robert Murphy debating Bill Still with G. Edward Griffin in the audience??)
This year we will announce the winners at the Save Long Island Forum and I promise to get all the letters out on to the public by January 31st. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: January 15th 2014
There are only three rules and you MUST FOLLOW THEM or your nominations will not count!
1. You MUST email me at firstname.lastname@example.org (putting it on my FB page or in a FB message or on twitter or linked in or in a meme does NOT COUNT!)
2. You MUST tell me WHY you are nominating this person (just giving me a name is not good enough –I must know WHY they inspired you! and so and so “because” is not a reason.)
3. You can ONLY choose 3 and no more than THREE people. If you send more than three people I will ignore anything after the first three you send me.
Here is last years winners list so you can get some idea of the honor of receiving an award like this since it comes with heartfelt messages not just a name slapped on a trophy.
Now get to thinking about who inspired you in 2013 and tell me why!
A new web based resource company focusing on liberty oriented speakers and entertainment debuted this week. Same Side Entertainment will feature a roster of prominent speakers and entertainment, all devoted to the message of individual liberty and freedom.
The new company founded by liberty singer Tatiana Moroz plans to offer a wide variety of services catering to educational and activist organizations, including booking keynote speakers, web promotions and event planning.
“Putting on an event of any size takes a lot of work. We know this because the staff at SSE has over 50 years of combined experience in doing just that. SSE is a service to help you ensure a quality event for your group or organization,” John Michaels, SSE’s Business Manager said.
Same Side will also provide a source for activists and liberty organizations to connect with well-known leaders in today’s growing movement for sustainable living, personal liberty, economics, and health freedom.
For the third anniversary of Liberty Candidates.com we have decided to honor all
of those who have inspired the liberty movement through the voices of the many.
This organization has always been about inspiration for motivation –we hand the
torch over to those who were inspired by Ron Paul to spread his message in the
political arena– and today we have given the torch to our brothers and sisters in
liberty so that they may shine the light on those who have been there to motivate
It’s called “giving back”
It’s been a very humbling experience to receive these letters and to read each one.
There are so many people out there who have been a part of this growing
movement and we may not have known all these names before but we will always
remember them now as the list grows day by day.
Remember –we are all in this together and this just proves it.
We have received 540 letters with nominations for 175 separate people. Wow!
Each and every letter has been printed whether it was one line or a chapter in the
life of someone’s personal history.
We have listed all the honorable mentions in
alphabetical order and kept the top 5 nominees for the end.
received a letter is a winner and everyone who took the time to write a letter was a
winner as well.
In some cases the praise was anonymous and in some cases there
was no signature so we could not publish the name of who gave the praise.
Thank you for partaking in this wonderful experience. May 2013 bring equal if not
more inspiration to a growing movement of love, liberty and freedom.
