Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Say Fann Letter Was Defamatory
Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Say Fann Letter Was Defamatory
A few weeks back I tried to explain to Andrew Pollack in a tweet, that we both had dead daughters for the same reason… but he deleted his tweet after telling me he was sorry for my loss. He deleted his tweet…..
Well, here it is, the anniversary of Parkland, and I finally just found out, in a blurb in an article from a year ago on CBSMiami.com, what may have actually happened at Parkland. Although it is not what has been focused on, I know that it is the key to what happened…. Let me explain.
We never hear about it, it’s never talked about, it’s never the focus after a school shooting or mass murder but from my years of experience, research and knowing people who have based their lives around trying to get the word out like Ann Blake-Tracy with her website drugawareness.org and her books and papers and countless interviews; or Kevin P. Miller who made the films “Generation RX” and “Letters from Generation RX” which he hoped would awaken the public to what was happening all around us; and Tim Alexander who is working on a new film “Legal Death — In Drugs We Trust”. The key, in this small blurb of an article, is that yes, Andrew Pollack, my daughter and your daughter died for the same reason and that factor was…..medication. The only difference is your daughter didn’t ingest it and my daughter did. Your daughter died from someone who was on medication and my daughter walked out onto a roof and hung herself from a tree. The only solace I have is that my daughter didn’t take anyone down with her but your daughter died at the hands of a boy who, according to his now deceased mother, “was found cutting his arms and posting about it on Snapchat.” And “his behavior was a result of a breakup with a girl she said was cheating on Cruz [him]”.
Valentine’s Day.
Medication. Let me say that again….. medication. It’s handed out these days like candy to our children with our permission. It’s the problem solver. The Band-Aid. The relief. I’m not a doctor and I’m not a psychiatrist, I’m just a mother who lost a child to medication because some time ago my daughter, too, was depressed and I trusted doctors when they told me that because she was cutting herself she needed medication. Within 9 months she was gone….. unfortunately it took the loss of my daughter to wake me up and I have made it my mission to at least help to wake up other parent’s so they don’t suffer the same pain… only here it is 15 years later and they are still handing out SSRImedication like candy, and sadly enough the same drug that killed her, that was NEVER APPROVED for children under 18, is still given out today to children under 18! Nothing has changed! Did my daughter die in vain? And since then, we have had countless schools shot up and countless suicides and countless devastation because of…..medication. This newest article about the Parkland massacre finally mentions that Cruz was on three different medications as if it’s of little significance.
— Cruz was heavily medicated when he transferred into Stoneman Douglas. Doctors had prescribed him Focalin, Clonidine and Risperidone for attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder and irritability associated with autism. The medications can increase aggression.
Valentine’s Day.
Do you remember when you were a teenager? Love was the greatest of feelings and the worst. It brought you the greatest joy and the worst pain. Broken hearts were always the thing I worried about most for my children. As an emotional being, I suffered through broken hearts in my teens that hurt so bad that I too wanted to die at times. I was date raped at 15 (there was no such thing as the term “date rape” at that time) and I wanted to scream out at the world, so I cut the top of one of my arms with a razor blade then found myself wearing a long sleeve shirt for a long period of time to cover it up because I was embarrassed when my peers saw it and made fun of me. I did it because I was hurting and didn’t know how to tell anyone how bad it felt, especially not my mother who I thought would be mad at me….. mad at me. Well, she saw the cuts and she immediately sent me to a psychologist who talked to me weekly for a few months after which the psychologist called my mother and said I would be OK. I was a hard teen. I was an only child and I lived in a neighborhood where all the kids were older than me by a year or two, but from 12 to 15 it’s never good to have friends who are older than you by a year or two because you grow up way too fast. I had no brothers or sisters so my friends were my world….. but even your friends can’t be really there for you when you are hurting from date rape. So I cut myself. And a psychologist talked to me….. Talked to me. I say this because today your psychologist talks to the psychiatrist they are affiliated with and instead of communicating with you, you’re given a prescription for…… medication.
Over and over again, this is what I hear from parent’s…. “my child was having a hard time so the doctor put them on… medication”. 15 years after the death of my daughter and I’m still seeing kids getting little blue pills placed on their tongues by their mothers and fathers…… I recently talked to one mother who’s 16 year old daughter was on two different SSRI medications and wanted to kill herself. She had also recently started taking birth control pills as well — do we really believe that these drugs were ever tested together and that they may not have a reaction in a 16 year old??
So maybe your child says they’re depressed and not doing well in school and not talking to you when really, maybe, it’s just a broken heart, or bullying, or maybe, just maybe, they’re not getting any sunlight or minerals in their food or they’re living on chicken nuggets filled with antibiotics or some other toxins like red dye #5 and your child is really chemically overloaded or imbalanced due to what’s going in their body or maybe they have a broken heart and they are in pain and they are on medication and they don’t have a lot of friends and their mother died and they are “in the system” and no one cares or they have no one that can really talk to them about how they feel…. and then Valentine’s Day comes.
We see legislators jump on these “events” and immediately blame the guns for the deaths of the children in the schools that have had shootings….. but it’s not the guns, it’s the medication. I know that because Dr. Ann Blake Tracy who has done years of research can tell you that most school shootings were done by a child on medication. But it’s NEVER EVER TALKED ABOUT in the media or by our legislators…. Well, one good reason could be that the media does all the talking and it’s the place where we get the information but according to Robert Kennedy Jr., the media gets 5.4 billion dollars each year from big pharma! Then, if you want to know how much money our legislators get from big pharma it’s not that hard by going to Opensecrets.org, and when you do, maybe you will finally understand why we never hear about mass shootings and school shootings and teen suicide from the perspective of the children being medicated because “mental health” supports our media and our legislators and if they talk against it, who is going to pay the bills?
“The pharmaceutical industry is so powerful, they give $5.4 billion a year to the media. They’ve gotten rid of the lawyers, so there is no legal interest in those cases. They have really been able to control the debate and silence people like me.“
~Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
“More mental health is needed” is what Andrew Pollack and Donald Trump have said in so many ways after Parkland but what if more mental health just means more drugging of our children and it becomes a circle game?
What we need in this country is more nutrition health, more parent/child communication about things like broken hearts. More faith and more belief that we can get passed our pain without being drugged or medicated. If mental health means strengthening our inner fears and growing as a human to get passed our pain and putting our energies into other things like the arts or education or empathy and love for our fellow man instead of believing that a pill can solve our problems than I will certainly stand by this sort of mental health. But if it means standing in line at your local drug cartel to fill a prescription to keep your child from hurting or not eating or lashing out or getting bullied or having a broken heart… I will not stand by and watch.
There is a lot we need to look into that should take precedent over what we are trying to do to solve the problem. Disarming Americans and infringing on the 2nd Amendment is not one of them. We will not solve the problem as I previously stated by medicating our children. We can solve the problem by not ignoring the other factors that might contribute to our children’s mental health like being able to deal with life’s ups and downs which resides in the area of better parenting but also looking into the toxins in our food and in our water due to the chemicals being sprayed in and out of the home and especially those used to cultivate our food sources etc. We can take our children to nutritionist. Make sure they are getting exercise and are outdoors getting sunlight and vitamins and minerals. We really do need to do better. We need to stop the circle game. And we need to stop letting media, mega-corporations and the legislators who are paid money by these entities be the ones to solve our problems. It’s up to us.
This Valentine’s Day talk to the ones you love. Ask them how they are. Give them your ear and your heart. It’s more important than anything you can possibly do for your family and your fellow man.

How many of you “old folks” (before the days of social networking) ever went to a party in your youth that got out of hand? You know the kind….where the parents went away on vacation and three high schools worth of kids showed up from telephone tag and word of mouth?
I know I went to about 3 of those…..everything in the kitchen cabinets and refrigerator down to the mustard and ketchup were eaten. People having sex in every room. Drugs being dispensed throughout.
I went to one where one of my girlfriend thought she’d have a little party and 200 people showed up including guys pulling up on the lawn on their motorcycles. We were only high school kids. I was 15. This was the 70’s.
Today the kids have the ability to tweet, facebook, yik yak, snap chat and God knows what else and mobs can be formed in seconds. These sorts of parties are now a constant.
The kids today are no different than the kids were in the past –they just have more technology to “get the job done”.
I hate that people forget what they were like as kids and put down the youth of today as if they are xtra-specially bad. In fact, I think they’re not as bad as the kids I knew growing up. Most of my friends if they had grown up today would probably be in jail for all the shenanigans they did as kids.
I watched that video yesterday of the police officer and the kids and none of those kids was doing anything that deserved that sort of treatment. One was calling for her mama.
EMPATHY
We paid for their cell phones. We gave them computers and the ability to want and need. We let them watch all that television and we showered them with everything life had to offer….. and now that they are here we want to call the police and blame them for being bad and wrong and rotten to the core and take none of the responsibility ourselves.
Let me tell you….the kids of today are more accommodating to one another. They are less racist and more empathetic. They have more empathy and they are more patient with one another.
There will ALWAYS be bad seeds…there will ALWAYS be those who are completely run a muck with ho sense of decency or conscience. I see this in adults too. As I always say, throw 16 kids on an island –some will lead, some will follow and some will kill.
What’s gotten worse?
The fact that packs can form in seconds because of technology.
The fact that we have put individuals in the spotlight in seconds by having websites where people can play out their greatest fantasy in celluloid in a minutia.
The fact that our government has gotten too big.
The fact that our police have become militarized.
The fact that we have a society that is completely distracted by reality tv to the point where it is the front page while on the back page where no one is paying attention we are being poisoned and enslaved by corporations in bed with our government and it seems as if there is no stopping this from happening…..
The kids of today have no future. They don’t have that same dream of being a homeowner or getting married and having a family or even a job. This has been stolen from them. I talk to kids in their twenties every day and many of them don’t even plan on having kids or even believe they will ever live on their own. Many teens have grown up way too fast and seen too much too early in life. Many have been drugged from the time they could walk and medication is a way of life. Many are the product of divorce or parent’s losing their homes and lives to bankers and market crashes.
Many are in debt and they haven’t even begun their lives yet….
It seems like doom and gloom all around. But it doesn’t have to be. Hold on to your family. Put restrictions on your kids. Teach them responsibility. Don’t give in to Big Pharma. Bring everything back home and closer to you. If you have young children and can afford to live less lavishly, home school them. Feed them healthy whole foods and stay away from the poisons that the government/corporations are feeding us to keep them wealthy.
Begin again….. have empathy…. stop blaming everyone else…..
Ben Swann gave me hope after watching this video this morning. Ben always gives me hope. He’s young, good looking, honest and actually does investigative reporting. He’s reachable –people can contact him with news or some injustice and he will look into it and make the calls and take the time in order to tell the world what is actually going on as opposed to what some corporate in-bed-with-our-government media entity wants us to think is going on. And he’s not one of those opinion-pushers we see all over alternative media –he gives us actual truth and real news. God Bless Ben Swann. He’s like the Ron Paul of the media.
So yes, he gives me hope and what he’s saying in this video reminds me of what just happened to me this past election cycle when I put myself out there and decided to Run for Office on a Liberty Platform –actually step up like the Liberty Candidates I’ve been shining a light on these past 5 years. And as Ben says in this video I was “certainly in the fight”….I had to go out there and collect 3,000 signatures to get on the ballot. My friends including my husband, Ken Bowman, my rock, were tenacious and we got 5,191 –enough to get on the ballot with a cushion…. yet we were sued by the GOP in my district who claimed that ALL of our signatures were fraudulently obtained and that we had 0 signatures. We were on the ballot and off the ballot through frivolous lawsuits that took us all the way to the Fifth Level NY Supreme court –and we won just days before the election, but by that time, absentee ballots went out with and without my name. News agencies ignored me believing I was no longer on the ballot. My name was left off of sample ballots in both the one major newspaper on Long Island and in the actual polling places, and in some instances (which I am still checking out), people claimed they tried to find my name on the ballot to vote for me but I was not there. They cost our campaign time and money. They sucked the life out of us. They confused voters. They won. But NOT without a fight! And NOT without me getting the word out about issues that they just refuse to talk about like Big Pharma, Smart Meters and Industrial Hemp and GMO food –as well as the sucking-on-the-teat of the taxpayers with the high cost of legislation itself –the fact that we pay real good money in New York State to be enslaved by ridiculous, redundant laws. The best part of this adventure was seeing how the local media, in conjunction with the political parties, does whatever it wants and gets away with it. Local Fios1 puts out news on election night with 100% of the votes in saying I got 0 votes. They know exactly what they’re doing.
I have to come clean and admit that this election broke me. I hated every moment of it from collecting signatures to asking for money to the constant self-promotion to getting physically ill before the debates and candidate nights. I never aspired to be one of them, I just didn’t feel comfortable in the job. When the lawsuits came I went through a myriad of emotions from dejected to elated whenever we got a win then back down again. This went on until just days before the election. This really did suck the wind out of my sails, and they knew this too –it’s what they plan will happen. These people are professional vampires sucking the life out of any third party candidate that tries to infringe on their territory of power, taxpayer funded salaries, benefits and pensions as well as appointed jobs for their friends and families. They don’t want ANY new meat involved in their little operation. It’s like trying to join the mafia with good intentions. I was pretty naive to think that I had a chance in hell. And that was proved with 724 votes they say I received. That adds up to the number 13 lol. I was sad but Ben Swann just gave me hope for the rest of you…..
I wasn’t the only one fighting out there to have my voice heard –I just might have been the only one fighting that didn’t actually want to be a politician –I wanted to be the anti-politician and get in and repeal laws and nullify the entire federal government from our state. And that wasn’t going to happen with some middle aged, loud mouthed trouble maker from Long Island who called out their game in the middle of a candidate meet & greet, was it? Was anyone listening? Did anyone actually care? Well if life really reflected the amazing people who I have met on facebook then I would have to say that people cared –then life would be a freedom loving place with people working in conjunction to live happy and healthy lives in a voluntary manner with a very small government never aggressing against another and having the ammo and God given right to protect themselves in their homes. But that’s not the way it works out there in the world where only 40% of the registered voters are the ones making the choices for everyone else –and where a lot of those people who spend their days complaining from their armchair through their finger tips never actually went outside to vote because many no longer believe in the system. I can’t say I blame them but –now what?
Droves of people are angry and want to leave NY State or at least cut the lower half off. On my journey to collect signatures I learned a lot about people….most have no clue what is actually going on with legislation until it directly affects them and even most Republicans I spoke to had no idea what the Safe Act was. Most people who shunned me were those who say “I don’t like guns” and though they may have agreed with me on all the other issues –their opinion on whether they liked guns or not was the reason they voted for the “Republican who voted for the NY Safe Act” or the Republican turned Democrat who stated that “People have a perverse fascination with guns”. Yet on my journey out there talking to voters did I ever hear –“I don’t like guns but I love the Constitution so I’m ok with you standing up for it.”
Most of the laws in NY State are there so as not to offend someone. We live in the “offend-sive” state. Someone doesn’t like something –a law is born. And the incumbent I ran against is great at what he does. He’s down with creating laws and voting against our liberties even though his own party platform is supposed to stand up for the Constitution and that includes ALL the amendments –you’re not supposed to pick and choose when you have principles. Well, unless it offends someone. And I think we saw in the news yesterday that back-room deals are what really guide how the elections will turn out. It’s all pre-planned. Once in awhile we may encounter someone who is a real freedom loving individual who will fight for justice, but you have to wonder what part of their soul they might have to give up in order to get in.
So I learned my lessons hard. I learned that I am not cut out to be in politics. I AM, however, cut out to watch these guys and call them out and hand them information when they’re not doing the right thing or stand in front of their offices with a large sign so that other people know they are not doing the right thing. Hell, I even learned how to do this in front of a camera. Words sometimes just seemed to fly out of my mouth because they were coming from my heart —and that only happens when I find I’m not trying to be one of them. I learned that I just have to be myself and stand up for what I believe in rather than try and act like one of them to play their game which they would never “let” me win.
At the end of this experience I gave up two things that were very important to me. I said good-bye to LibertyCandiates which I started on November 10, 2009 and ended on November 10, 2014 (I was shocked when I saw that I had opened that account on the very same day I closed it!). Five good years. Why did I close it? People stopped caring. People stopped donating to the candidates. People stopped paying attention. It all stopped making sense when my committee of over 125 dwindled down to 2 to 5 people voting at a time if I was lucky. Apathy killed Liberty Candidates.
The same can be said of Save Long Island –another organization I closed down. I ran it with my friend Ed Weaver and tried to awaken souls on Long Island to the issues affecting us. The last event we ran had 5 people show up. I knew people just didn’t care after the Save Long Island forum we threw in January. We promoted it for 6 months prior and the best we could do was 250 attendees. That’s not enough. We had speakers from every spectrum of the liberty movement from all over the country come together to talk about issues like vaccine safety to the 1st amendment to smart meters, GMO food, economics, common core education, Big Pharma and the constitution. Billy Joel comes to sing and people pay thousands of dollars to listen but we try and tell people about issues that are affecting their families and their homes their pocket-books and bodies….and most people couldn’t find the money or time to attend. It destroyed Ed and I –but we kept trudging on. Right after the forum I had to go full steam ahead with my campaign and Ed was helping with my campaign, the website, brochures, etc. We put our all into the next thing to awaken people, my campaign, and again very few showed up. Don’t get me wrong –I am forever grateful to those that did believe in me, donated to me, lent me their bodies and time –this was the REAL grassroots and I have so many amazing people in my life who care and have given their all in trying to help me…. but in the end, that was not enough and they are just as dejected as I am.
So I give up on these things…on trying to awaken people through organizations or elections where they might actually have to show up and partake or do something –and instead I begin again….. doing things where only I have to show up. Because I know that I can count on me. In the end we have to take a look inside of ourselves and see what drives us. We all have to be leaders for ourselves if we want to get anything done. I’m tired of trying to awaken so many people by pointing out what’s wrong and trying to gather the troops in order to make it right. I’m pretty sure the troops are tired too. I have it right with myself and my family and my friends. So that’s what I’m doing, beginning again….. starting from scratch. And I’m hoping that if nothing else –maybe I awakened enough people who will start their own “Save Long Islands” or “Liberty Candidates” and invite me to their liberty awakening events –I just won’t be running them. I’ve given up the reigns and I’m going to take a back seat and watch. I believe that many of you out there are ready to step up and do your thing. I see it happening already. Maybe I helped to pave the way but I’ve done my fighting –Ben Swann says it’s time for the “win”. Go and win! I’ll write about it in this blog. Invite me to the after party 🙂
I’m a political activist. Yes, that’s what my title is in the world of titles. Why? Because on this 10th Anniversary of my 15 year old daughter’s death from suicide, due to being prescribed SSRI medication that was never approved for children under twenty-four years of age (yes, you read that correctly), I recall how I set out to find out why this happened ten years ago and how I have ended up here —running for NY State Senate — knowing full well that I am doing this for all the right reasons, NOT because I am a politician or even want to be…..
When I look back to where I was ten years ago, I was a Long Island mom, working as a bookkeeper, trusting my government, trusting the doctors I had chosen to support my family in times of sickness, trusting the teachers in the school system, trusting the people running the government locally and nationally… I had no idea that the rabbit hole I was about to crawl into was filled with special interest, nepotism, lobbying (bribery), cover-ups, lies and a world full of people whose sole purpose in life was to pander to the almighty dollar. I especially had no idea that the health and safety of my family was not in the best interest of most of the people running our lives — and that most of the people running our lives were, in fact, corporations!
I know, I’ve just said a mouthful with nothing to back up my words in this short blog –but if you do the research yourself, you’ll find out plenty. For instance in 2012 there was a lawsuit against GlaxoSmithKline, makers of SSRI Medication like Paxil and Wellbutrin, who admitted fraud in using tactics aimed at promoting the use of the drug in children, including helping to publish a medical journal article that misreported the data from a clinical trial. Who admitted to trying to win over doctors to push their medication for perks including vacations, concert tickets, spa treatments and speaking engagements. Being hit with the knowledge that my daughter may have died so that a doctor could attend a spa vacation was hard to swallow. Soon you start to notice things, like when you open up a magazine and most of the ads are from pharmaceutical companies, and watch TV to see that every third commercial is telling you the side effects of another drug. You then start connecting the dots. Would we even have media without these pharmaceutical companies paying for the advertising on most of the nightly news shows? You eventually start connecting the dots to places like Open Secrets to see who contributed to the campaigns of your state and federal legislators and see a lineup of pharmaceutical companies names and you have to ask yourself why there is never a mention against these companies by anyone in government. When you start to take notice that our liberty is being infringed upon after disasters like school shootings when the “guns” get the blame but no one looks to see what was behind the mind-set of the child that did the shooting – That nearly all of them were done by kids on SSRI medication…… You start to connect the dots that corporations are calling the shots over our Constitution and that they are running the show.
Take another issue like GMO food entering our food supply with the splicing of seeds with insecticide to the point we are afraid to eat anything store bought anymore. A few Google searches and you find out that men and women who have sat on the board of Monsanto Corporation have also enjoyed a seat at the FDA. Does this make sense? Does it make you wonder how the FDA who is supposed to protect the interest of the American people has actually spent so much time protecting the interest of a corporation, that our food system is completely compromised?
I can go on with issue after issue – from Smart Meters to Vaccines to Geo-Engineering and you will see at the core of everything happening “to” us is the result of a corporation being in bed, somehow, with our Government. We are not one nation under God today. We are one nation under many corporations! Don’t believe me? Just check out Common Core Education and find out who and what is now running our classrooms and who is in control of the young minds of our country.
And so, in 2009, sometime after the 2008 Presidential election, a friend of mine, Edward Weaver, and I started an little organization called Save Long Island. What we do is show films and have speakers once a month to awaken people to the issues taking place that are affecting us. We talk about every issue from those mentioned above to those on Alternative Medicine, the War on Drugs, Industrial Hemp, as well as tools to find our way out of the muck and mire, like Prepping and Nullification. We do this because we care – not to make money or to benefit anyone or anything – but because we give a damn about our country, our community, and the future of our children.
….And then I found myself running for office for all the same reasons. To spread awareness –to talk about these issues that are affecting all of us. To get the word out that we can only fight back if we have the tools to do so and that means actually knowing what is happening and why. Education is Key. My daughter cannot have died in vain.
In January, Save Long Island is running a forum at the Hauppauge “UpSky” Hotel (formerly known as the Sheraton Hotel). We are having speakers on every issue mentioned above and more. We are flying speakers in from all over the country – many of whom have made the films we have shown at our monthly Save Long Island Events. It’s a three day event that includes an economic debate, a film clip festival, a full day of speeches from 18 speakers, and a brunch the following day with a three hour Q&A with all the speakers about solutions.
If we don’t start educating ourselves about what’s going on around us then we can’t fight back and the corporations get to be our rulers. I don’t know about you but I don’t pledge allegiance to Monsanto or to a pharmaceutical company. I’m fighting back – if you can’t fight back and run for office too – then support my campaign – Win or lose I will be heard. Come to the Save Long Island Forum and find out for yourself what’s going on in our country. Let’s band together. Let’s fight back.

According to Tim Brown of D.C. Clothesline
“David Lewis, 35, of Amherst, New York, who is a librarian with a Masters in Library Science from the University of Buffalo, received a notice that his permit was revoked and he was to turn in his weapons or they would come and get them and charge him with illegal firearms possession.”
This is thanks to the NY Safe Act which has a provision that “mandates the confiscation of weapons and permits if someone has been prescribed psychotropic drugs”
And there you have it in all it’s glory — the Ducks were lined up in a row to disarm the American people.
In 2012 one of the huge Pharmaceutical giants, GlaxoSmithKline, lost a little known 3 Billion Dollar lawsuit where they admitted guilt to having pushed their psychotropic drugs for perks.
“Drug representatives nationwide aggressively pitched the drugs for unapproved purposes throughout the medical community for several years, rewarding physicians with luxury spa vacations, lucrative speaking engagements, concert tickets, and other incentives.”
An attorney for one Whistle Blower, told the AP that during a regional meeting of sales representatives in Las Vegas in 2000, the reps were told to promote Wellbutrin as the drug that makes patients “happy, horny and skinny,” as part of a national slogan repeated to doctors.”
These days who hasn’t been prescribed an SSRI medication for some human malfunction like being sad because a loved one died or stress related to employment or school. They hand it out like candy for “perks” we learned above….Doctors didn’t care if you really needed it or not because what they really needed were concert tickets and spa vacations.
So the big pharmaceutical companies managed to push their cotton candy on the American people and now a clause in the NY SAFE ACT rushed through to a vote in the middle of the night by putting the blame on firearms because of the Sandy Hook tragedy when a child who may have been on the anti-psychotic drug, Fanapt, went on a murder rampage. Yet not one legislator who voted for the NY SAFE ACT stood up to even discuss that the root cause of these school shootings may have been SSRI medication and not the 2nd Amendment which they so cowardly voted away without even reading the bill!
How convenient for those who wish to disarm the American People. How convenient that the pharmaceutical companies that appear to be one of the BIGGEST LOBBYIST in Washington get to work in conjunction with the STATE to now begin gun confiscation while compromising HIPAA laws to revoke permits.
Now they are saying that David Lewis had his guns wrongly revoked. That there are flaws in the law.
So, do we stop worrying now that perhaps because of personal tragedy we may have been put on anti-anxiety medication for a short while that we can still keep our firearms to protect our family? Do you trust that the same government that is working so hard to disarm us will be fair in the end? Do you trust that a legislation that pushes a bill through and votes blindly has your best interest at heart?
Connect the dots and follow the money I always say…… and my money is on Big Pharma for the win here. They come out clean and unscathed every time. After all –you don’t see firearm commercials during your Fox news at Five….but how many pharmaceutical commercials do you see? Who owns the media? Who owns the legislators? Yeah, connect the dots….

The bill below which is being voted on in NY State wants to require children born after 1996 to have the HPV aka Gardasil Vaccine in order to be enrolled in the Public School system. They are also voting to have this vaccine administered without parental consent???
Lets connect the dots here….. in the middle of the night on January 14, 2013, our 2nd Amendment rights were virtually whisked away with a bill presented to the NY Legislature that they barely had time to read before being voted upon. The reason for this was the “Sandy Hook” incident with the excuse of emergence in having us protect our children from guns. Except for Ken Blankenbush of the 117th Assembly District, and Senator Greg Ball of Westchester, not one of the Assemblymen or Senators mentioned the root cause of these school shootings possibly being a mental health problem or the over-administering of SSRI medication and instead, with the help of Governor Cuomo, put into law the NY Safe Act –virtually ignoring any correlation between the Pharmaceutical Companies and what seems to be a new national occurrence- “school shootings” (here is a clip from Fox news pointing this out in 2003)
Now, weeks later, we are faced with legislation pandering to Big Pharma once again. Two bills to be put fourth before the NY Legislature that will not only require children born after 1996 to receive a vaccine in order to attend school but they are also voting on taking away parental rights to administer this vaccine.
A20267 adds the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine to the list of vaccines required for school, despite the fact that its actual effectiveness is unknown—at best it may protect against only two of the fifteen cancer-causing strains of the virus—and the side effects and reactions from the vaccine are sometimes severe.
AB497 allows minors to consent to receiving the HPV vaccine without parental consent. States shouldn’t get in the way of family decisions—this is just a way of back-dooring the vaccination.
PLEASE take this time to fight back. Use the attached link to write to the NY Legislators and let them know that this is NOT ACCEPTABLE!
Enough is enough! Keep the state at bay!

Gigi Bowman is running for NY State Senate District 5, 2014 because she’s mad. Real People, Real Issues!
Danny de Gracia is a political scientist and Liberty Candidate who lives in Hawaii. For more articles, interviews and to find out more about Danny, follow him on his official blog!
LONG ISLAND, NY, January 23, 2013 ― The rallying cry of the Ron Paul Revolution has been a call to action for some of the most sincere and idealistic people from all across the United States. Many of them have no prior experience in politics but feel a heartfelt mission to make a difference in a world needing desperate change. One such woman is Gigi Bowman, founder of the Liberty Candidates organization which helps unite libertarian minded people of all parties to get their message out and win elections.
Since founding Liberty Candidates in 2009, Bowman’s organization has fielded hundreds of candidates and given their message a national forum to be heard and recognized.
Bowman, who is one of the Ron Paul movement’s most dedicated organizers, entered politics following the tragic loss of her daughter in 2003 to prescription medication. She has been a dynamic advocate for such controversial topics as pharmaceutical reform, GMO labeling and many other issues that candidates and parties are too timid to challenge. Taking her advocacy to the next level, Bowman announced last week her intention to run for office, seeking the New York State Senate seat for District 5.
Gentle yet every bit a courageous mother figure, Bowman wrote in an announcement e-mail to supporters, “I have watched as the loss of liberty has become more and more apparent … I am stepping up today to run for office because I cannot sit back and watch any longer as our beautiful country and the freedoms and liberties that our founders fought so hard for are diminished daily by political parties and administrations that are working against the people, not for the people. While we are struggling to afford what we hope are fresh, healthy food for our children, our legislators spend their days doing photo-ops, ribbon cuttings and running photo contests about our environment instead of educating us about what is happening to our community – most likely they don’t even know themselves!”
I sought out Gigi Bowman for an interview to discuss what her take was on President Obama’s new term and how national politics would affect her candidacy and state policy.
