How to Host A Political Meet & Greet and Why You Should

Don’t you think in this political climate that you should take the time to meet your local, state & federal candidates?  That you should learn all you can about them since they will most likely be calling the shots on how much money is coming out of your paycheck, how clean your local environment is and what laws might be infringing on your liberties without your consent?

Well, I’m here to tell you that you can simply hold a political meet&greet at your home inviting your friends, family and neighbors and since Summer is almost here….what better time than right before the 2018 Primaries and Election?

Step by Step Instructions:

#1 Buy a Cocktail Shaker – That’s right….it’s called a cocktail party and all you need is a bottle of vodka, some ice, a fruity juice or if your taste run more to the exotic side try a bottle of Kahlua.

Bailey’s Martini

Tito’s Cocktails

or if you think you’ll get a big crowd than mix up a large batch of Sangria! You can go White and add some Red & blue berries to add a festive political touch 🙂 Try this recipe from Recipe Girl

#2 Make Some Munchies:  Now that you’ve figured out the beverages how about some finger sandwiches or perhaps a nice dip? In staying with our political theme there are lots of ideas right here, and it’s all healthy too!

#3 Create Invitations:  It doesn’t have to be difficult or time consuming.  You can simply run to the store and buy a pack of invites or you can get creative and print a batch on your computer. But I suggest you make the “put in the mailbox” kind and not the ones generated on a computer and emailed because it’s not personal, it’s easy for people to ignore and it might get lost in spam or just a mass email delete.

Here is a great site on Lucid Press that shows you how to create your own invitations or you can simply take a walk over to your local Michael’s where they have an isle filled with every sort of stationary imaginable including blank cards, stickers and envelopes and you can print up some striking invitation that is sure to peek the interest of your neighbors or you can find stationary and just print a simple invite which can be folded and placed in your friendly neighborhood mailboxes.

#4 Call Gigi and Make arrangements to have a Meet & Greet with Bob White, Gubernatorial Candidate for Florida! Just drop me an email @ bowmancomputers@aol.com and let me know dates and times of availability and we’ll get Bob right to your door!

It’s important that you know who you’re voting for and if you want to meet the best man for the job than lets get this party started!
