Gigi Bowman, Life Liberty & the Pursuit of Clean Food
Day after day on social networking I’ve come to notice a trend. Group-think is the new Conservative view –the same view that the Conservatives condemn the Liberals for.
In this country we have primaries. Sometimes our President endorses a candidate and sometimes he does not. Not all the candidates that have been endorsed by President Trump -whom I happen to LOVE with a capitol L- have been the best candidates and they have not all been the winners. We do have people in this country who think for themselves –thank God.
In Florida we have a race for Governor with a dozen or so candidates. Donald Trump endorsed Ron DeSantis and someone I admire very much, Ron Paul, endorsed Bob White. My choice is Bob White. I like where he stands on the issues including jobs, education and corporatism in the Florida legislature. These issues are very important to ME and I agree with him. So I took it upon myself to help his campaign and to try to awaken other people to the fact that he’s a pretty damned good candidate. It’s a free country, we have a 1st Amendment and I am not an advocate for Group-think. I thought my fellow Conservatives and Republicans were against this sort of thing as well since it’s what I see them faulting liberals with day after day on Facebook & Twitter –but it’s funny how it’s AOK when they do it or don’t agree with you. In most places that’s called hypocrisy. And I really hope that we are not resorting to that sort of thing.
Today I’ve been called stupid by a fellow Republican Conservative and Biker. Yesterday I was verbally gang-hammered by Bikers for Trump. ALL BECAUSE I chose to think for myself and look at the candidates and make a decision of whom I agreed with the most and took it upon myself to help their campaign.
I could go on and on but I’m going to stop here. If we don’t want to turn into the very people we protest against, why do we resort to acting like them when we don’t agree? Name calling? Vicious verbal attacks? What’s next?
Lets try to be bigger than that. We have primaries for a reason. You can make your decisions during primary time and when the nominee is voted upon then we basically come together and work as one for the side we have chosen that is supposed to represent our values.
I’m so tired of being disappointed in my fellow American citizens. In every direction I look we’re at each other’s throats. Even those on the same side.
If, during primary time, you don’t like a candidate –then just ignore them…but to jump on the hate bandwagon and act the same towards those on your side as you act towards those who are diametrically opposite of your very core beliefs is really disheartening.
I’m a Conservative, A Republican with a side of libertarian. I love my President and my husband and I ride an Indian Motorcycle…..so I think I fit into the groups “Bikers for Trump” or “Trump Voters who Ride Motorcycles” and unless the name of the group is changed to Group-Think for Trump or Zombies With One Brain for Trump then there is no reason to attack me.
That is all.
And yes, this is me. I’m a Real Woman and I am voting for Bob White. This doesn’t mean that if you don’t vote for Bob White you’re not a real woman it just means that I’m a woman and I’m real.
Don’t you think in this political climate that you should take the time to meet your local, state & federal candidates? That you should learn all you can about them since they will most likely be calling the shots on how much money is coming out of your paycheck, how clean your local environment is and what laws might be infringing on your liberties without your consent?
Well, I’m here to tell you that you can simply hold a political meet&greet at your home inviting your friends, family and neighbors and since Summer is almost here….what better time than right before the 2018 Primaries and Election?
Step by Step Instructions:
#1 Buy a Cocktail Shaker – That’s right….it’s called a cocktail party and all you need is a bottle of vodka, some ice, a fruity juice or if your taste run more to the exotic side try a bottle of Kahlua.
or if you think you’ll get a big crowd than mix up a large batch of Sangria! You can go White and add some Red & blue berries to add a festive political touch 🙂 Try this recipe from Recipe Girl
#2 Make Some Munchies: Now that you’ve figured out the beverages how about some finger sandwiches or perhaps a nice dip? In staying with our political theme there are lots of ideas right here, and it’s all healthy too!
#3 Create Invitations: It doesn’t have to be difficult or time consuming. You can simply run to the store and buy a pack of invites or you can get creative and print a batch on your computer. But I suggest you make the “put in the mailbox” kind and not the ones generated on a computer and emailed because it’s not personal, it’s easy for people to ignore and it might get lost in spam or just a mass email delete.
Here is a great site on Lucid Press that shows you how to create your own invitations or you can simply take a walk over to your local Michael’s where they have an isle filled with every sort of stationary imaginable including blank cards, stickers and envelopes and you can print up some striking invitation that is sure to peek the interest of your neighbors or you can find stationary and just print a simple invite which can be folded and placed in your friendly neighborhood mailboxes.
#4 Call Gigi and Make arrangements to have a Meet & Greet with Bob White, Gubernatorial Candidate for Florida! Just drop me an email @ email@example.com and let me know dates and times of availability and we’ll get Bob right to your door!
It’s important that you know who you’re voting for and if you want to meet the best man for the job than lets get this party started!
I know I have good taste. I met Bob at a local Republican Meet & Greet and knew in my gut that he was the kind of man Florida needed. A lot of people are at work behind the scenes with very deep pockets trying to turn Florida blue….from the anti-2nd Amendment democrats to those who would like nothing better than to turn Florida into the next Welfare state and take away all the wonderful freedoms it has to offer both economically and constitutionally –which is why I left the state of New York after running for NY State Senate when I realized how doomed I was if I continued to live there with it’s high taxes and abundant nanny laws.
So lo-and-behold a short time later guess who endorses Bob White? None other than Ron Paul! Ron Paul red-pilled me back in 2007. After finding out about this stalwart Congressman from Texas who was running for President I got on the Liberty train and started the Long Island Ron Paul meet-up and from there I started the organization Liberty Candidates where I would help to promote Candidates running for office on the platform of Liberty which was my way of helping to bring more like Ron Paul into the fold through the election process. It was sort of a ‘draining of the swamp’ back in 2010 – 2014 through supporting candidates who were adept at following the Constitution.
Well, this just proves to me that my instincts are good. Before Ron Paul’s endorsement I jumped on board the Bob White Campaign trail as a a ground organizer for Saint Lucie, Martin, Indian River, Volusia and Brevard Counties. We’re looking for leaders to step up and take action for this grass-roots campaign so if you’re looking to get involved with getting a Liberty Lover and Constitutionalist elected as Governor of the great state of Florida and to #KeepFloridaGreat then send me a note and we’ll get you started with a Tee-Shirt, business cards and bumper stickers.
We’re also looking for people to host meet-and-greets for their local friends, family & neighbors so if you are interested in doing so just message me with possible dates and we’ll work it out.
This is how you do it. I worked for a campaign that managed to get a blimp in the air! We can do this. #WhoIsBobWhite?

SO we must stay vigilant. When they shut us down we start up again somewhere else. Never forget that we are Americans and we came here so that the government wouldn’t push us around. Today they are doing the pushing by using the media, corporations and the people we vote into office.
No no no…..we must not give in. We have one another and we don’t need anything but the ability to put our heads together to figure out ways to fight back. This doesn’t have to include anything more than continuing to fight back with pen in hand.
Remember the White Rose Society……. and let that be our inspiration.
I will leave you with this video of Alex Jones from a few weeks ago….He doesn’t have the answers and he’s quite honest about it. He has been harassed of late as being the leader of the “fake news”. Support your “fake news” friends and citizen journalist.
